SHEMROCK SMART class is a comprehensive solution designed to assist teachers in meeting day to day classroom challenges and enhancing student's academic performance with simple, practical & meaningful use of technology.
It also enables teachers to instantly assess and evaluate the learning achieved by their students in class.
SHEMROCK School is excited to offer ASM an open Grade book Program, , a computer software program that allows parents and students access to current grades, attendance information about their child while sitting at home with just a click of a mouse. Through ASM, parents have a secure way to check student's progress.
Shemrock Technical Administrator, , will be available to answer any questions regarding the technical aspects of the program or if parents are having difficulty accessing their child's account. All SHEMROCK teachers are committed to updating grades once a month so that parents and students are viewing the most current grades.
As parents become more involved in students' school work, this will in turn encourage students to perform better which will have a positive ripple effect throughout the school community.
SHEMROCK Learning Resource services focus on the whole child and to support his/her academic, social, and emotional development in collaboration with teachers and parents. Multi-disciplinary staffings, psycho-educational test interpretation, and special accommodations at each grade level to support documented student needs and develop specific strategies to assist students in their learning.
Psychological support services works closely with the Learning Resource office. In keeping with the school's mission, the staff psychologist collaborates with students, parents, faculty and staff in all divisions of the school to promote awareness of self and others, and foster independent thinking.
Services provided include counseling; consultation to students, families, faculty, and staff; collaboration with community-based mental health professionals; coordination of psychoeducational testing referrals; in-house professional development; and presentations and workshops for students and families.
